Our Story
Local Lives was founded by a small group of neighbours who recognised that many people in our community were struggling in silence. What began as informal help between friends has grown into a dedicated charity supporting hundreds of people each year. We are proud to be led by the community, for the community. Our volunteers come from all walks of life, united by a shared belief that everyone deserves support when they need it most. Today, we continue to grow — but our founding values remain unchanged: compassion, dignity, and a genuine commitment to every person who walks through our door.
